All the world’s a stage!
Early in October, the curtain falls on my 75th year as an award winning director, the staring actor playing all character roles, the art director, the costumer, stage manager, lighting designer and gifted writer of my personal one-woman Tryshe Show.
These next couple weeks will be my time to take time and catch up to myself.
It’s a wrap on 2024.
I’ll take a moment to write the reviews and give myself performance notes on lessons learned during this ‘run’.
It’s time to recall the important reference points for contrast and birthed awareness, then take a bow for the amazing production and divine entertainment I managed to mount this year.
Perched at the edge of this cycle about to end, I wonder, did I hit my mark? Did I use my full authentic voice? Did I find my light and stay in it?
*Was I unflinching in my devotion to myself, above all others?
*When I didn’t know that One thing, did I realize I didn’t need to know the thing?
*Was I more receptive to the creative wild states within me?
*Was I gentle with myself?
If not now, When?
Today it is time to bear witness to what a year it has been and give myself permission to slow down…way down… and roll down the imaginary window of my imaginary VW bug and let my hand surf the imaginary wind.
Just feel the pace of life meander and flow…then reflect.
For this moment, and the next couple weeks, I will consciously and gently recall, quietly review, softly rejoice and let the lights go dim on 2024.
Who knew I’d finally stop searching for answers and realize I am the power-of-one always beginning to LIVE my new moment, my new adventure, experience my unique potential?
It’s all here! Yes, Yes!
I’m ready for my next cycle, my next year, without a need to know the outcome!
What freedom!!!!
It’s all mine for the creating.
