In May of 2000, Tryshe was told by doctors that there was no longer anything they could do t o treat her Hepatitis C and liver disease and to "get her affairs in order." Five months later, doctors were mystified when tests revealed that she was disease and virus-free. Tryshe had healed herself through the power of toning. Now, she leads workshops nationwide designed to support others to generate their own healing tones that allow optimum health and well-being. She lives in Tuscon, where she recently celebrated the five year anniversary of complete freedom from liver disease and any active Hepatitis C virus. Her doctor now claims she is "cured."
Along with Sound Shifting™ , Tryshe also created
the highly acclaimed and nationally recognized Life Scripting Process where
she combines traditional theatre, recovery therapy and spiritual disciplines
to create living art for social change . Her
innovative approach to prevention and education around addiction and young
people has brought her to the national stage. She has been featured
on CBS Evening News with Dan Rather , the PBS
documentary "Coming 2", FOX Forum, the Dr.
Laura Show, and various periodicals including Teen
People Magazine , TV Guide , The Times of London , Cleveland Plain Dealer, San Francisco
Examiner and Chronicle , Seattle Times and Post Intelligencer and
has presented for national audiences including the United Nations and
the Child Welfare League of America . Her work with sound,
movement and authentic expression has been acknowledged as ground breaking.
She currently shares this unique body/voice integration and sound healing
work at Canyon Ranch Health Resort, AZ and on Queen Mary 2 Cruises and has offered
classes and lectures at Miraval Life In Balance, AZ; Onsite Experiential Workshops, TN;
Red Mountain Resort, UT; Sierra Tucson, AZ;
the Sunstone Cancer Support Foundation, AZ; Rutgers University, NJ. Tryshe is a
dynamic and inspirational speaker and offers seminars, retreats and
lectures both nationally and internationally. |
